Our proposals for Spring and Summer

Are you thinking about a birdwatching holidays in Picos de Europa National Park?. These are some of our proposals for 2015 Spring and Summer.

Proposals for Half-Day: 

a) Vultures and Eagles. An easy route to enjoy some of our most amazing raptors, specially Golden Eagle, Short-Toed Eagle, Griffon Vulture and Egyptian Vulture. It is possible to develop in Cabrales and in Liébana.

b) Woodpeckers and the forest birds. Will be done in one forest near of your accommodation. We have some possibilities in the north and south side of the Picos de Europa National Park. 

c) The Reintroduction of the Bearded Vulture in the National Park of Picos de Europa. Our main  objective is to know first hand which are the technics and methods of this project that try to recuperate young birds in the Pyrenees in danger of death and their release in Picos de Europa National Park.

Proposals for Full-Day

a) The alpine birds. We will access at 2000 m. above the see level and will try to enjoy some of our most amazing alpine birds, specially Wall-Creeper, Snow-Finch, Alpine Accentor and Yellow-Billed Chough.

b) The Cares Gorge and the big Five Raptors. (NEW). Cares Gorge is probably one of the most breathtaking sceneries in Northern Spain, but is also the best place to try to observe our Big Five Raptors in one single day: Golden Eagle, Egyptian Vulture, Short-Toed Eagle, Griffon Vulture and Bearded Vulture.
